As Stat-X approved marine distributors and authorised engineers, we are fully trained in the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fixed Stat-X fire suppression systems for both marine and vehicle applications.
We have unrivalled knowledge and experience with Stat-X and other aerosol systems which ensures that systems supplied and installed by our engineers and then maintained by Marine Fire Safety are ready for use at all times. Our knowledge of the way in which Stat-X systems work enable us to look closely at all aspects of the systems including installation, control, distribution and extinguishing requirements.
We provide an unrivalled knowledge of Stat-X fire suppression systems,
ensuring you that your vessel is protected from fire risk 24/7
Supply
Marine Fire Safety is the largest marine and vehicle supplier of Stat-X fire suppression systems in Europe.
We keep a good stock of the most popular sized units, and if in the unlikely event we don’t have the units in, we can generally get them within seven days.
We also keep a stock of the FPX control panels and all other system items including heat and smoke detectors with bases and deck-head mounts, sounders and beacons and all other sundry items required to make up the complete Stat-X system.
Installation
As Stat-X approved engineers, we travel all over the UK and parts of Europe to carry out full installations. We can protect any size of engine room or machinery space including anything from a small generator of 0.5m3 up to a large engine room of 264m3+.
Our experience enables us to site the fire detectors to ensure the alarm is raised early in a fire situation and site the Stat-X units to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness when required. The Stat-X units are installed within the protected area with no requirement for pipe-work and nozzles. Our engineers can usually supply, install and commission a system within a single day.
Commissioning
Once the Stat-X fire suppression system has been installed, it is essential to have it fully checked by a qualified Stat-X engineer. This should be done before the system is signed off and put officially in to service.
This final check of all the system components and system functionality is done to ensure that it is in good working order and any unforeseen problems to be corrected. Marine Fire Safety engineers are authorised by Stat-X to carry out these checks and are experienced in this important commissioning process. Once the system has been commissioned a certificate will be issued on site.
